Our Story

For over 30 years, the owner of Copper Cove Indian Bistro has been synonymous with Indian fine dining in the US & UK. Our executive chef/owner takes the cuisine and culture of her homeland to the next level with a breathtaking restaurant and delicious cuisine.  The Chef's mastery of traditional spices and flavors makes each dish an opportunity to experience classics and delicacies in new and exciting ways. Every plate becomes a culinary journey.

Specialties  Authentic Indian contemporary delicacies with the owner's sinful twist.  The menu reads like a romantic fairytale of locally-sourced ingredients marrying with exotic flavors and living happily ever after. Rich dishes simmered with delightful spices, curries served with a dollop of thick Tikka special sauce, sprigs of cilantro added as an afterthought, smokey renditions from the "Tandoor" - our clay oven, flatbreads stacked high with aromas of garlic or sweet decadence of fruits and glazed with butter. The focus is tantalizing taste served with a rustic touch with an intimate and modern ambience. 

Established in 1980. Starting from a little city in the UK, Doncaster. Doncaster, an historic market town, with a rich horseracing and railway heritage and our first and very successful entrance in the authentic Indian restaurant industry.  Eight years later led us to Atlanta, GA to pursue the American dream.  Its been a dream come true and after two lovely and well appreciated successful establishments in the suburbs of Atlanta, Copper Cove Indian Bistro is born in the heart of Buckhead with an authentic twist and classy ambience.

​Meet the Business Owner: Anjali
In the 70's, a young Indian lady married to an young Indian man arrive in the UK to further their education, quickly realizing the matured English palates for homemade Indian delicacies. Aromatically spicy, sweet, and/or tangy, the British friends took in wholeheartedly all the aromas and tantalizing tastes of each dish she made. The same delightful tastes to the US and again winning over many stomachs here.  From housewife beginnings, to the joy of cooking for friends & family, and now for decades, an entrepreneur of Indian cuisine, she now brings her creations to Buckhead.
